PERIPHERALS

Peripherals include devices such as receipt printers, cash drawers, and scanners—tools used alongside your computer or tablet to improve functionality. Similar to computers and tablets, Transactt provides recommendations for peripherals to optimize system performance.

Peripherals

  • Any size or brand of touch-screen will work. Choose a model that fits your price range and environment

  • Transactt works on any size of display.

Instead of buying a separate touchscreen monitor, you can choose to buy an “All-in-one” computer that comes with touch screen. This works best in terms of compatibility and performance.

Alternatively, instead of buying a touchscreen computer or a separate screen, you can choose ANY tablet (iPad, Android and Windows)

You will need a mouse and keyboard when using a desktop computer like Windows or Mac.

However, Transactt is designed to work perfectly fine when using a tablet or mobile phone.

The receipt printer is used to print receipts for customers and stores.

Fully tested models:

  • Epson: TM-T20, TM-T20II, TM-T82II , TM-T88V Star: TSP100 (Windows only)
  • Recommended: Epson Models

The RJ connector at the back of the printer will connect to your cash drawer to trigger the drawer open.

Notes:

  • For Linux, only the Ethernet interface is supported.
  • For iPad, iPhone, and all Android devices, only the Ethernet models are supported.

Tag printer is used to print dry cleaning/laundry tags to be stapled to the item.

This printer is only necessary for dry cleaning or laundry businesses.

Fully tested model:

  • Bixolon SRP275 Impact

Recommended: Samsung Bixolon SRP 275 with Auto Cutter USB and Ethernet Models

Notes:

  • For iOS and Android devices we only support Ethernet interface.
For Linux, only the Ethernet interface is supported.
  • All the RJ11 or RJ12 cash drawers work as long as your printer has the RJ port.
  • Recommended: any RJ cash drawers.
  • As a general rule, if you can plug a bar-code scanner into your computer, and scan a bar-code into Notepad, it should work with Geelus, as barcode scanner works like a keyboard (scanning a bar-code is the same as typing some numbers/letters – just really quick)
  • You can use any kind of bar-code scanner as long as it supports Code 39 standard.

Recommended brand: The most reliable and fast barcode scanner brand is Motorola, Symbol or Zebra.
